Welcome to Year 3! 

On our class page you will find lots of information about our learning and all of the things we have been busy doing. Make sure that you check back regularly in case we have added anything new. We look forward to sharing our adventures with you!

Junior leadership elections will take place on Monday 7th October.

If your child would like to put themselves forward to be our class representative, then they will need to prepare a speech and deliver it to the class on Monday.

The children will then vote to choose which child will be the Year 3 junior leader.

• Spelling lists for Autumn 2 have been sent home and also added to the 'Spelling' tab for you to access at home. They will be added to Spelling Shed weekly.

• Remember Ed Shed is a great place to practise those times tables facts too! 
  

Important things to note:

Our PE days are on a Monday and Wednesday. Your child will need to wear their PE kit to school on these days. As the weather is starting to turn colder, please ensure that your child is wearing a long sleeve top/jumper/hoodie and long trousers instead of shorts.  

As the children are now in key stage 2, they are no longer provided with a daily piece of fruit from the government. We will be having a fruit snack time in the morning and in the afternoon, so it is a good idea to send two pieces of fruit/veg to school with your child per day.
