In science, we'll be learning what the classification of living things means and how it can be done, which scientist developed a well-known classification system and we'll find out different ways that living things can be classified.

In history, we're going to be learning all about World War 2 - how it started, who was involved and how it affected the lives of people in our country.

In art, we're going to be 'making our voice heard' as we study a range of different artists and different art styles. We'll look at symbols that have meaning (e.g. from the Mayan culture) and create our own pieces that have meaning for us.

Our Christian value this half-term is friendship.

You could find out what some friends did for a man in bringing him to Jesus (see Luke 5:17-39) or you could make a friendship bracelet like some Hindu people do during the August celebration of Raksha Bandhan during which time they celebrate the special connections within their families.
