Maths in year 1 is an exciting and challenging time. The children will be developing their knowledge of the number system and introducing concepts such as addition, subtraction, groups of numbers etc.

A great way to start helping your children in maths, is to help them learn their number bonds to 10.  We learn the addition  and the subtraction number bonds and these can be practised at home. 
To help we will be setting the children 'Rocket Maths'. This will be a weekly challenge for the children to learn and practise number facts.
